The whole framework looks good and quite similar to all other wheelchairs brand in the market. Good choice of colour (orange cushion with silver frame) which can be accepted by both male/female seniors or other wheelchair users.

Frame, Size & Capacity
The wheelchairs are made of high quality aluminium, which made them lighter than the usual wheelchairs you see in hospital. The total weight is around 14kg. The orange cushion is a good addition which offer the users a more comfortable sit.
The wheelchair's size is pretty standard, not much different if compared to other brand of wheelchairs in the market. The wheelchair come with the foldable backrest feature, which means the backrest can be folded into half of the original size. This feature helps you save space and make it more convenient for you to carry around the wheelchair, especially when you need to put the wheelchair inside the car boot.

These wheelchairs come with punctured proof tyres for rear wheels, which is the suitable ones for use in Singapore. Front castors are solid wheels.
The size of rear wheels are 14" for KY867 and 24" for KY868. If the user is not able to propel the wheelchair by himself/herself, you can always choose the smaller rear wheels as it is slightly lighter and more space savings.
Brakes
These wheelchairs come with a set of assisted hand brake. It function perfectly and fit the purpose well. With these assisted hand brake, the caregivers are able to stop the wheelchair easily. It is also important to hold the hand brake when the users is sitting on or standing up from the wheelchair. This is to prevent the wheelchair from moving or sliding away.

Footplate, Armrest & Upholstery
KY868 and KY867 wheelchairs come with a set of flip-up footrest. The footrest is made of durable plastic in black colour. There are some grips on top of the footrest to prevent the users' legs from slipping off. The positioning of footrest is well design to ensure the comfort of all wheelchair users.
Armrests are wide and offer optimum comfort to the users. The material is easy to clean as well.
